2013 went by in a blur. I guess two kids and two jobs will do that to you. And before I knew it, Isla was turning one. Where did the time go? Where was my newborn? She was replaced with a speed-crawling, food chomping, toddling little girl.
I promised Jeremy that after this party I would tone it down. No more extravagant-themed parties that took the entire family to pull off. Ok, next year we will go somewhere and let the venue throw the party. But that meant this year I was going all out. 
Besides, my little girl only turns one once.
I used gold, light pink, and white as my color scheme and planned everything around those colors. The overall theme was Sugar and Spice, so all of the food coordinated with that idea.
I rented several items from the awesome Terri Smith Details, including the drink containers and white metal chairs that I placed around the fire pit.
The large jars that the pink and gold balls were in, as well as the white centerpieces, were also from Terri Smith Details.
